My Story

As someone who has also experienced trauma, I remember feeling alone in my issues and I struggled to move forward in my relationships. That all began to change when I sought help through counseling. My therapist was a light bearer and helped guide me in redirecting my life. I was so moved by the experience, I knew I wanted to be able to do the same for others. Life can sometimes feel like a dark, lonely journey. My desire is to walk along-side you in your healing, providing a safe place for you to be seen and heard, and promote change.
About Me
I am currently a Master’s level student at Grand Canyon University, set to graduate in June of 2024. I have my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting. I’ve been married for over 15 years and have a joyous daughter, brought into this world through the marvel of Invitro. My husband and I spent 5 years living in Ecuador, South America running a private Christian school, working with a children’s home, and the local church. We love to travel! Some of my favorite places I’ve been so far have include the Galapagos for the marine life and Buenos Aries, Argentina for the steak!
Why Work With Me
I approach counseling from a holistic perspective. Each individual is unique, so in order to understand and change your specific struggles, we have to address multiple perspectives- mind, body, spirit, background, and community. I also view counseling as a collaborative effort.
Together we can discover the patterns holding you back, build your repertoire of healthy coping skills, and integrate the past so you can leave it where it belongs.
